Nightingale's Cottage
We welcome your little one into our cottage! This is a small RN ran overnight childcare business providing personalized attention to small children of other nurses and healthcare professionals on the weekends. Our space is a state licensed childcare home with an environment dedicated to learning, nutrition, cleanliness, and safety all while making sure they have a restful night’s sleep. After meeting us, you will feel secure leaving your little one as you focus on your night-shift commitment.
Inside Our Cottage
We have undergone a lengthy licensing process and devoted many hours to childcare education. Nightingale's Cottage provides a nurturing environment for children to learn and grow. Each child receives personalized attention and care. Our nightly schedule includes playtime with lots of activities, an evening and morning meal, sleep preparation, and all the things needed to rest well.
Enrollment
No commitments, no contracts
Currently, we are prioritizing the children of night-shift medical staff and first responders. Our hours cater to their weekend shifts in the evening and night, but all children are considered. We are licensed for small children ages 18 months to 6 years. This is a drop-in childcare service with no long-term contracts or commitments. There are never any hidden fees. After attending a tour and turning in an admission fee and packet, you can then reserve your child a bed on our calendar which is updated frequently. Feel free to reach out for more information!
Meet the Owner
My name is Nicole Muller, BSN, RN, and I live in the Midtown neighborhood of Mobile, AL. I started my nursing career as an LPN in 2008 and went on to obtain my RN in 2011. I have worked in healthcare for many years, and that once included a position at night. I look forward to supporting you and your family as you dedicate yourselves to taking care of patients on the night shift. Please know that taking care of small children has also been a passion of mine for quite some time. My family and friends can attest to my love and care for their children over the years. We cannot wait to host your littlest one in Nightingale’s Cottage, so please come on in and tour!
